Darcy Nutt

Tattooing professionally since 1999, Darcy most enjoys tattoo work based on Japanese and American traditional, plus anything organic and illustrative. She can also do black & gray semi-realism, stipple, detailed color and intricate linework. Large-scale compositions that are custom tailored to fit the body are her specialty, but she enjoys doing tattoos of any size with some artistic freedom. Always happy to work with clients to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Derek Schaeffer

*IN MEMORIUM*

Derek enjoyed tattooing in all styles, but specialized more in photographic reproductions & portraiture, realism with a painterly look, and black & gray pieces. He started tattooing in 2007, and joined the crew at Chalice on May 25th, 2010 and worked here until his passing on August 21st, 2024. He put 100% into every project that he was entrusted with and valued his clients so much.

He is survived by his mother and father, his siblings and his son, and he is dearly missed.

Ben Sanchez

Ben grew up in New Mexico, moved to Idaho late 2008, and began tattooing in 2009. Prior to tattooing, he dedicated over a decade of his life to street art. Ben is a well-rounded artist that puts much of his time into the designing process before even tattooing. His goal is to create unique tattoos that flow with the shape of the body and are pleasing to the eye.

Geometric, Black & gray, realism, bright and bold, and neo-traditional are some of Ben's favorite styles. His specialties include dot work (stippling), patterns, mandalas, ornamental, abstract, symbolism, floral, symmetrical designs and sacred geometry.

Ryan "Teach" Schienle

Teach has been tattooing since 1996, and is a very well rounded tattooer with years of experience in many different styles. He's a friendly fellow that makes everyone feel welcome, and you might just learn a thing or two while you're in his chair.

Brody Figueras

Brody has been drawn to the arts for as long as he can remember, which led him to the world of tattooing in 2007 where he grew up in Southern California. From shop to shop he learned the trade and built his skill and style for 10 years.
He took his journey to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017. While living and tattooing there, he learned that he is most satisfied with creating neo-traditional, illustrative and fantasy tattoos.
Now, here in Boise, Idaho at Chalice Tattoo Studio Brody looks forward to bringing your ideas into his realm of tattooing to produce the best looking tattoo he can with you.
"Being fond of creatures and the outdoors, I’m excited to be apart of the Chalice crew here in Boise. So keep the organic ideas flowing and let's have some fun!!"
